Quality Assurance Analyst, Senior, Engineering. Southfield, MI.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute software test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate implementation of user requirements.
  • Create best practices regarding test strategies, libraries, and defect management.
  • Write advanced SQL scripts to extract data from databases/systems for comparison as part of testing validations.
  • Validate data warehouse data.
  • Maintain documentation of test results to assist in the debugging and modification of software.
  • Identify and document defects.
  • Help Developers understand, filter, and prioritize application defects.
  • Provide feedback to Business Analysts on artifacts created during project analysis phase.
  • Coordinate and participate in reviews of test cases/scripts. Gather and report quality assurance performance metrics.
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in any field and five years of progressive experience with analyzing requirements, creating test scenarios, participating in defect management, creating SQL queries, performing test execution, and use of SQL and HP Quality Center.
