Executive Service Assistant Public Defender TN District Public Defenders Conference Legal Salary Range: $69,060 - $180,960 Shelbyville,TN Fayetville,TN Lewisburg,TN Lynchburg, TN Closing Date: 02/03/2025Salary is based upon experience as a licensed and practicing attorney in accordance with statute and agency hiring guidelines. Who we are and what we do: State of Tennessee District Public Defenders Conference - represent indigent persons in General Sessions and Circuit Courts for persons whom the District Public Defender has been appointed as counsel by the courts. Job Overview: Shall represent indigent citizens accused of criminal activity in General Sessions Court and Criminal Court. Representation shall include performing the appropriate pre-trial, trial ,sentencing duties and appeals. Minimum Qualifications: Must be licensed to practice law issued by the Supreme Court for the State of Tennessee. Key responsibilities:
