THE ROLE

The Specialized Services Representative I performs transaction processing for Institutional Clients who submit trade sheets that require manual processing. The associate also processes trade files for clients that submit them either electronically or in standardized Excel spreadsheet format.

Key accountabilities for the role include processing financial transactions, creating wires, reviewing daily reports, and providing customer service and problem resolution assistance to both internal and external clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Process financial transactions for Institutional Clients both manually and using the MFS Electronic Database - IAS.
  • Create outgoing wires and link incoming wires to trade sheets.
  • Review daily reject reports.
  • Provide customer service and problem resolution assistance to both internal and external clients.
  • Accountable for all aspects of workflow, from receipt through processing and quality review.
  • Ensures Internal Control Matrix and procedures are kept up to date.
  • Performs additional duties as requested.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2+ years of industry experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
  • Strong written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision, manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines
