The Investment Management Practice of our Securities and Financial Services Department is seeking an attorney who has four to seven years' experience counselling investment advisers and fund managers on regulatory and transactional matters. WilmerHale's Investment Management Practice works with a dynamic range of clients in the asset management industry, including institutional asset managers, private fund managers, wealth management firms and registered fund managers. Attorneys in the practice advise clients on a broad range of projects that include regulatory advice, fund formation, and strategic transactions involving asset management firms. The ideal candidate will have experience in a mix of regulatory and fund formation matters. Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 is required. Knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 is helpful. Qualifications: * Juris Doctor * Attorney must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based. * Successful candidates will have excellent writing skills, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to positively contribute to a collaborative work environment.
