Objective The primary objective of this position is to provide support to the Engineering team. POSITION SUMMARY: Create new and modify existing engineering documentation including Purchase Specifications, Vendor Drawing packages, Design History Files, and other supporting MSOffice documents. Ability to understand and review Engineering models and drawings. Assists with engineering design experiments, testing, and assembly of prototype products as requested Works to gain overall knowledge and proficiency with engineering tasks and processes Responsible for supporting unit initiatives Learn and understand systems and processes within a regulated industry Assist Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians with management and execution of projects Other responsibilities as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Current or recent enrollment in an accredited Engineering or equivalent degree program Competencies: The ability to prioritize tasks and focus on tasks until completed. Strong interpersonal skills - This is a team environment and intern will likely get some direction from multiple team members. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Intern will be expected to present to cross functional groups occasionally and to create or modify engineering reports. WORKING CONDITIONS: This position will be in a manufacturing/office environment
