Requirements

    Current SSBI Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance/access
  • 5 years' experience in Tactical Datalink (TDL) operations (Link-16 and JREAP A, B, and C) as well as supporting the operations and optimization of C2 equipment to include the Joint Range Extender (JRE), Air Defense Systems Integrators (ADSI), Line of Sight/ Beyond Line of Sight (LOS/BLOS), Satellite Communication (SATCOM) and Radio Frequency (RF) datalink antennas, and radios within an ISR environment
  • Possess knowledge of current TDL Military Standards (MIL STND)/STANAG and Air Force Instruction (AFI)
  • Possess a strong understanding of Tactical Data Links as well as managing and integrating data across different systems within a Joint operational environment
  • Must pass and maintain 616 Operations Center (OC)/Joint Interface Control Cell (JICC) TDL certification
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills


Desired Skills

  • JICO certification (Completion of JT-101 Introduction of Joint Multi-TDL (MTN) Operations Course, JT-102 Multi-TDL Advance Joint Interoperability (MAJIC) course, JT-201 Multi-TDL Planners Course, and JT-301 CAPSTONE)
  • Familiarity with the Joint Interoperability of Tactical Command and Control (JINTACCS) program and its effort to ensure the C2 compatibility of all US Military service and NATO weapons systems
  • AFMAN 33-285 IAT Level II cybersecurity baseline certification. This includes one of the following: GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Security+, Security+ Continuing Education (Security+ CE), System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate-Security (CCNA-Security)
  • National-Tactical Information-Operations experience and ISR systems knowledge
  • Excellent communications and writing skills; to include experience with technical and professional writing
  • Possess strong organizational skills and have ability to manage multi-tasking


Description

  • Support the 616 Operations Center (OC) Joint Interface Control Cell (JICC) with advocating for 16 AF initiatives to Joint Multi-TDL Standards Working Groups (JMSWG) and Joint Multi-TDL Configuration Control Boards (JMTCCB) IAW the JINTACCS program
  • These initiatives enable and enhance Air Force input into Operations with capabilities that include integration, testing, standardization, and TTP development for Command & Control (C2) & Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (ISR) Common and Tactical Data Link (CDL / TDL) systems
  • Responsible for 1) Attending JINTACCS meetings and assisting with Interface Change Proposals (ICP), Requests for Exception (RFE), and TDL policy initiatives for the organization; 2) Assist the Air Force voting representative at Change Configuration Boards (CCB); and, 3) Assist with Firewall Exemption Requests (FER) and Information Exchange Requests (IER) for a high operations tempo organization
  • This position will require travel
