Associate Technician, Engineering - Skilled

Job description:

• Technical Support: Assist engineers and scientists with technical tasks, including developing and recommending procedures, preparing technical documentation, and performing technical evaluations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Data Management:




• Perform data mining across multiple data sources.
• Gather and validate attributes for onePLM objects as part of the EUDAMED Project (regulatory database compliance by January 2026).
• Collaborate with various teams, including Regulatory Affairs, Master Data Management, and Division Process Owners, to ensure accuracy and compliance.




• Analysis & Reporting: Utilize intermediate Excel skills and Power BI to analyze and report on data.
• Systems Knowledge: Work within systems like ERP, PLM, and Windchill (training provided if needed).

Key Qualifications

1. Experience:




• Technical support experience with a focus on data-related tasks.
• Hands-on experience in data mining and cross-functional collaboration.

1. Technical Skills:




• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data validation).
• Familiarity with ERP/PLM/Windchill is a plus but not required.

1. Soft Skills:




• Strong communication skills to interact with diverse teams effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

Work Environment

• Hybrid Model: Requires onsite presence in Portage, MI, with flexibility around days.
• Schedule: Standard hours are 8 AM - 5 PM.

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate technical events, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Detail-Oriented: Comprehensive understanding of processes and systems with the ability to identify and address gaps or inconsistencies.
