Koch Communications Marketing is seeking a Director of Communications and Marketing. This individual will be responsible for building and developing a high-performing team of marketers who integrate into various businesses and capabilities across Koch. This role will proactively drive marketing and communications activities to help businesses achieve their goals and objectives. The Director will oversee strategic planning, campaign management, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that marketing efforts align with business objectives and market opportunities. This role requires a strong leader with excellent project management skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, and the ability to effectively coach and develop team members. Our Team Koch Communications Marketing (KCM) creates value through effective storytelling, communications and global marketing for Koch companies. Primarily based in Wichita, Kansas, we also have teammates and businesses located in Atlanta, Georgia and across the globe. Our collaborative team includes designers, copywriters, video professionals, web developers, project managers, social media experts and more. What You Will Do * Build, develop, and upskill a team of marketers assigned to multiple KCM partners (Koch businesses or other capability groups) to proactively drive marketing and communications activities. * Standardize the interactions and support provided to partners, connecting direct reports to the team vision and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. * Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform strategic direction and develop recommendations that drive business strategy. * Support the team through the planning, execution, and analysis of comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. * Track and report on the efficacy of marketing initiatives against business goals and adapt plans as necessary. * Review and give feedback to the KCM creative team on various creative assets. Serve as the internal "voice of the customer" to strengthen creative solutions before presenting them to partners. * Build and maintain relationships with key business leaders and industry stakeholders. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Proven experience in a senior marketing role, developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. * Strong leadership and team management skills with experience and interest in developing marketing teams. * Experience utilizing project management tools and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. * Experience in digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, social media, and email marketing. * Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to make recommendations * Experience in campaign management and strategic planning. * Experience working with cross-functional teams while building and maintaining relationships with key business leaders and industry stakeholders. What Will Put You Ahead * Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field. * Previous marketing agency experience. * Experience working with business leadership and executives. * Project Management software experience(Wrike, Workfront, etc.) At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
