Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Marketing Associate Job Summary This position is responsible for marketing, communication, and external relations for 16 departments and schools, additional interdisciplinary programs, and the College Dean's Office. Specifically the job entails promoting the College's image and brand, managing College-wide communications, preparing College publications, planning community-facing College events, strengthening ties with external constituencies, facilitating the Dean's work with advisory boards, supporting the work of College development officers, leading College level community outreach, facilitating the awarding of College level scholarships, and overseeing other special projects related to marketing, communication and alumni engagement. This position serves as the liaison to advancement and communication branches within the institution, such as University Advancement, Alumni Affairs, and University Marketing and Communication. Additional Information University Benefit Highlights: Salary Rate / Pay Rate $63,500 - $76,655 annual Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, English, journalism, publishing, or a closely related field. Preferred Qualifications 1. Master's degree Work Hours Core hours are 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend events required.
