Technician, Quality Engineering (onsite) The Quality Engineer Technician provides technical support to solve problems and work directly with cross functional teams on MRB activities and improvement processes. This position is expected to develop skills in inspection process development, non-conforming material review and disposition. Responsibilities: Supports MRB for all dispositioning needs and other workload needs (i.e. administrative tasks, cycle counts, scheduling rework, sets up weekly meetings). Performs inspection duties to support in-process inspections. Provides training to personnel as required (includes demo assessments, etc.) Works on cross functional projects Works on continuous improvement activities which directly support the business Participates as a member of NCQIT Provides technical guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems. Prepares thorough and accurate measurement summaries, correspondence, ECO documentation, and tool sketches. Other duties as assigned. Travelling Requirement: Up to 10%, May be required to travel between sites as needed. More about you: Education Associate Degree in Engineering Technology (or equivalent) or High school diploma/ equivalent and an additional 2 years of equivalent work experience. Work Experience Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Medical Device field. Personal Competencies Must be able to work with all levels of management and ability to work with a team of engineers providing support. Social Competencies Ability to work under pressure and meet project timelines across departments. Demonstrated written and oral communications skills, including the ability to present information, facilitate meetings and provide direction to others. This role's pay range is between $24.61/hr - $ 36.92/hr (based on location). This role is also bonus eligible.
