Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Chandler, AZ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Help the team develop and support application database code in the Merchant Services arena Translate complex database ideas in terms a non-technical user can understand utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills Requirements: 7+ years of experience developing packages and stored procedures using PL/SQL Experience and proficient knowledge of how to troubleshoot and performance tune queries 7+ years real-world experience of database design and development using Oracle 12c or higher 7+ years' experience developing packages and stored procedures using PL/SQL 7+ years' experience writing and maintaining complex PL/SQL code including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to implement business logic within the database 7+ years' experience parsing and querying Oracle XML/JSON database structures Experience and proficient knowledge troubleshooting and performance tuning queries Experience working with Oracle SQL Developer or Oracle Toad 12.2 or higher Able to translate complex database ideas in terms a non-technical user can understand utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills Have knowledge and experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Have knowledge reading, interpreting and explaining Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) reports Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills across varied levels of influence Able to design the system with little direction or guidance Excellent analytical and logical skills Self-starter with thought leadership Able to partner with both technology and business associates to implement solutions Able to multitask and work independently Desired skills: Payments or Banking background Oracle Golden Gate knowledge Experience developing with JDK for PL/SQL, Java, Oracle Stored procedures Knowledge and awareness of other non-Oracle DBMS technologies Good understanding of Micro-Services Architecture Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Certification Pay Range: $60.24 - $68.24 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
