Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. Service Analyst, Supply Chain.
In this role, the successful candidate as the Sr Service Analyst focuses on preventing product shortages from occurring by finding the root cause of backorder issues and identifying solutions. They take the lead on strategizing and socializing long term plans for constrained items and communicate to all stakeholders effectively. They are action oriented pay close attention to detail and are analytical in their approach. The Sr. Service Analyst provides additional support to the Service Analyst in solutioning constrained products that are of immediate need. They lead the quick coordination of external and internal stakeholders to solve complex product availability issues preventing potential service disruptions from occurring. They know when to escalate issues to leadership for further support
Job Responsibilities:
- Investigating root cause of supply constraints and providing a plan for resolution.
- Influence a team of internal and external stakeholders to determine a strategy for prevention of supply disruptions.
- Lead the management of long-term product backorders and discontinuations from issue identification until resolution.
- Effectively communicate supply disruption issues to stakeholders and leadership as needed.
- Support the Service Analyst in solutioning products which are of immediate need.
- Analyze reporting to identify areas where supply disruption is at risk.
- Host routine calls as needed with suppliers and distributors to work through ongoing constrained supply issues.
- Analyze internal data such a purchase order history and inventory data to support issue resolution.
- Build connections across supply chain teams and succeed in bringing multiple groups together to achieve a common goal.
- Plan strategy for at-risk inventory utilizing external reporting information.
- Present data and other key information to upper management in various settings.
- Report out on key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and training modules to ensure consistent day-to-day execution.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor s degree required with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Has a strong customer focus a sense of urgency and high level of accountability. Demonstrated ability to lead through problem management and resolution Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to upper management teams. Experienced in leading projects and a strong history of working with cross functional partners. Comfortable analyzing data and presenting findings
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with supplier/end user relations and supply chain management technologies Able to demonstrate a strong history of influencing cross functional teams both within supply chain and with external partners Project work experience Experience working in fast paced environments and has a proven track record of adapting to evolving business needs

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $135,541.73 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
