Job Description

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Training Lead/Task Manager to take charge of developing and executing training programs for our customer's Unattended Ground Sensors (UGS) program. The ideal candidate will excel in managing training logistics, aligning strategies with organizational objectives, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders to ensure mission success. Key Responsibilities of a Training Lead/Task Manager:



  • Design and oversee comprehensive training programs tailored to UGS operational needs.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop training materials, manuals, and related documentation.
  • Schedule and coordinate logistics, including venue arrangements, materials, and equipment.
  • Provide administrative support to trainers and trainees, maintaining accurate records of attendance, progress, and outcomes.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using assessment tools and gather feedback for program improvement.
  • Manage budgets and resources for training activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with external training providers and experts.
  • Align training strategies with organizational objectives and generate detailed reports on training activities and outcomes.
  • Mentor and coach staff to enhance skills and performance.
  • Act as a liaison among trainers, team members, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and task alignment.
  • Collaborate with the UGS Team Lead to document operational feedback and address program requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Active CBP BI or TOP SECRET clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of experience in training program management or task coordination, or a

    • Master's degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience.


  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate training programs.
  • Strong project and resource management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement and team management.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities to manage diverse stakeholders and teams.


AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $135,000- $150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
