The Congressional and Regulatory Investigations Project Assistant is an entry-level position working efficiently and collaboratively with and under the supervision of attorneys and support professionals to assist with all phases of Congressional and other regulatory investigations. The Congressional and Regulatory Investigations Project Assistant will also assist with the day-to-day operations of the Congressional and Regulatory Investigations group firm wide.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*



  • Assists with document collection, production, organization and management.
  • Assists with the maintenance and manipulation of document databases for purposes of facilitating productions, preparing for depositions, hearings and other proceedings.
  • Assists with the implementation and utilization of eDiscovery applications for purposes of document management and production including redacting and bates stamping.
  • Assists with the utilization of WH Discovery Solutions Roles and Process Management and Review Methodology.
  • Updates case management pages, electronic databases and support systems.
  • Assists with routine preparations for witness interviews, including the assembly of witness files and reference binders.
  • Assists with hearing preparation.
  • Assists with updating indices, chronologies, logs and tracking systems.
  • Assists with establishing logistical support and set up of remote offices to accommodate the needs of the case team for purposes of hearings and proceedings.
  • Assists with client service and associated client meeting tasks
  • Assists with administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, printing and organization of documents and information.
  • Attends and participates in training programs for professional development and building technology skills.
  • Adheres to best practices for daily time entry for client billable work and eTime for attendance and time off requests.
  • Contributes to the Firm's Service Excellence initiative to consistently improve its image internally and externally. Displays professionalism, quality service and a "can do" attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors via electronic and print correspondence, over the telephone and in-person
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience


Education

BA/BS preferred.
