Medical Assistant

Primary responsibilities will be to room patients, obtain pertinent medical data and enter information into the Clinic's electronic health record. Will also assist providers in the exam room, assist with Botox appointments, and assist with phone triage. This position is responsible to communicate pertinent information between patients and providers to ensure continuity of patient care as well as make arrangements for patient treatments at outside facilities, as requested. Additional medical administrative duties include obtaining prior authorization for prescribed treatments, facilitating prescription refills, supply inventory and ordering, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and working with medical records, etc.

Qualified applicants will possess the following credentials:

• Medical Assistant diploma (certification or registration strongly preferred)
• One to three years previous medical office experience required
• Excellent computer skills; proficiency with electronic health record and MS Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and juggle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
