Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Underwriting Service Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the underwriting process for our online platforms, managing daily workload, and providing excellent customer service. Benefits of this Role: * Competitive hourly rate of $19.50-$20.50/hour * Opportunity to work with a world-renowned insurance company * Hybrid schedule: in-office 40 hours for the first 3-4 weeks of training, then transitioning to a hybrid schedule * 11-month contract with opportunities for hire A Day in the Role: * Support the underwriting process for multiple lines of business, including BOP, Commercial, Auto, Workers Compensation, and Umbrella * Manage daily workload, including endorsement requests, BORs, newline quote letters, renewal processes, and billing discrepancy resolution * Adhere to underwriting authority, compliance, and regulations, business strategies, and corporate standards * Build and maintain a result-oriented relationship with underwriters to drive overall results, including profitability, growth, and retention * Meet daily and monthly productivity and quality goals Requirements: * 1-3 years of experience in Commercial Property and Casualty insurance principles and practices * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Strong understanding of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service * Ability to work independently and within a team/group environment * Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills * Proven analytical skills, including the ability to identify and report problems or errors * Strong interpersonal and communication skills Nice to Haves: * College credits or insurance certifications * Experience with metric-based goals and productivity metrics * Experience in processing, data entry, or customer service roles Performance Metrics: * Productivity goals, including daily and monthly metrics * Quality audit accuracy percentage * Meeting established time and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction * Ability to work through tasks that are at different stages of completion. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
