*TEKsystems is looking for a Desktop Engineer who is interested in moving into a fulltime role in North Aurora area. *
* *Will be an onsite job opportunity 5 days/week.* Top Skills * *Microsoft Technologies*: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows 10, Windows 11. * *Active Directory (AD) and Intune*: Administration and management skills. * *Customer Service*: Exceptional skills in handling and supporting VIPs. * *Technical Support*: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop and hardware issues. * *Communication*: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and users. * *Time Management*: Efficiently prioritize and manage incidents and tasks. * *Team Collaboration*: Ability to work within a small team and independently without micromanagement. Position Overview * *Role*: Contract-to-Hire (CTH) L2 Desktop Engineer in a Windows environment. * *Responsibilities*: * *Desktop Support*: Basic desktop work, device issues resolution, and new employee orientation (NEO) support. * *Intune Support*: Manage devices through Intune, with occasional exceptions. * *Video Conference & some AV Support*: MS Teams & Troubleshoot Logitech AV systems and coordinate with vendor AVI for escalations. - PLUS * *Exec/VIP Support*: Provide backup support to VIPs, balancing urgent demands with realistic expectations. * *New Employee Orientation*: First point of contact for onboarding, distributing equipment, and assisting with MFA setup. * *Work Hours*: 8am-5pm, with occasional early starts for special events (e.g., company town hall). * *Team Dynamics*: Collaborative, small team environment with opportunities for growth and promotion. * *Biggest Challenges*: Customer service, self-prioritization, and time management skills. ____________________ Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
