Academic Foot and Ankle Surgeon, UMass, Worcester, MA

Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation and UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained academic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join our team.

UMass Memorial Health is the largest healthcare system in Central Massachusetts and the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School, providing access to cutting-edge technology, research, and clinical trials. The Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation has a strong tradition of excellence in clinical care and in training residents, fellows, and medical students. As the most comprehensive group of orthopedic subspecialists in Central New England, we offer an unparalleled academic and clinical environment. We are seeking a collaborative, team-oriented surgeon with a commitment to growing the Foot & Ankle service for the long term.

Position Highlights

  • Perform 1,100+ cases annually across UMass facilities and a new free-standing ambulatory surgery center
  • Opportunities for clinical and basic science research
  • Academic appointment at UMass Chan Medical School, commensurate with experience and training
