Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance for our Milton Roy & YZ SBU. The position reports to the VP, Finance for our Precision Technology and dotted line to Business Leaders of Milton Roy and YZ. The Director of Finance should be strategic, a team player with a positive attitude, be proactive, manage complex tasks, and possess a high attention to detail. The position will be responsible for directing the financial processes for the SBU with the goal of insuring accurate and timely financial reporting, preparation and review of consolidated budgets/forecasts and evaluation of results. The role will act as a trusted finance business partner to the VP/GMs of Milton Roy and YZ providing finance support to drive order and revenue growth, margin and EBITDA expansion and improved Net Working Capital. Projects include acquisition analysis and integration, capital investments and cost reduction/restructuring initiatives.

Responsibilities


  • Operations Support:
    Actively shapes the development of SBU's strategies within the broader corporate framework, including budgets, financial planning/reporting, product line trends, networking capital, restructuring efforts, sourcing cost management, and project/customer profitability, by being directly involved and hands-on in completing tasks.


  • Analyze:
    Evaluates complex issues, bringing together multiple concepts across functions to define a new direction or a significant advance to products or services including but not limited to sales and margins, acquisitions and divestitures, acquisition synergy realizations, make vs. buy initiatives. Must demonstrate critical thinking and prioritization skills.


  • Plan:
    Manages and leads teams through all of the financial/accounting functions, coordinating those to fit within the strategic goals of the divisions and the corporation. Insures local plant finance staff are meeting or exceeding appropriate reporting deadlines. Responsible for all monthly management forecasts and providing relevant risks, opportunities, and assumptions to support forecast. Must demonstrate superior communication skills to influence the outcome.


  • Leadership/Management:
    Develops and maintains a competent work force through recruitment, training, coaching and establishing goals and objectives. Should exhibit executive leadership traits that includes team building, ability to articulate a vision, balanced communication skills, and a track record of execution.





Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • 10+ years of experience in finance within the industrial industry, demonstrating a proven ability to drive innovation and achieve sustained growth.

  • 7+ years of experience applying US GAAP and SOX requirements to ensure compliance for organizations with $100 million+ in revenue.

  • 2+ years Experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion Consolidation tools

  • Proven ability to work well in a cross-functional environment.

  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to manage multiple critical projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization.




Preferences:


  • Master's Degree

  • CMA, CFA, CPA is a plus.

  • Strong PC skills (Excel, Power-Point) required.




Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements


Site-based in Ivyland, PA (Greater Philadelphia Area) with ~30% travel (domestic and international) .
