The Position
2025 Summer Intern - Department of Discovery Oncology Department Summary The Department of Discovery Oncology is seeking a creative, independent, and motivated scientist for a summer internship position. The goal of the Discovery Oncology department is to identify critical targets and pathways required to drive tumor progression and translate these observations into cutting-edge therapeutics that improve patients' lives. The successful candidate will utilize a variety of biochemical and cell biology techniques to explore targets in the expanding field of induced proximity. As part of the internship experience, the candidate will participate in a range of activities in the Discovery Oncology department as well as across the broader Genentech campus, gaining valuable insight into a potential career in biotechnology and drug discovery. This internship position is located in South San Francisco (on-site only). The Opportunity

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $40.00-$45.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
