The Opportunity:

Advancement & Partnerships seeking a talented and creative Graphic Design Specialist II to assist in the development of the Advancement and UCF brand. This role involves providing professional digital graphic design and production services to departments within Advancement, focusing on maintaining and enhancing the university's visual standards across various projects.

Responsibilities:

Concept and Design Development:


  • Initiate concepts and designs for marketing collateral with a specific focus on digital executions and printed materials.

  • Create and execute new and existing digital elements and printed materials under project direction and guidance from the Associate Director of Creative Services.


Video Production:

  • Assist with concept development, direction, filming, and editing of new and existing video content.

Standards and Styles Maintenance:


  • Help develop and maintain standards and styles for Advancement materials, publications, and ongoing digital and printed materials.

  • Maintain graphic standards and fulfill various departmental requests.


Professional Consultation and Quality Control:


  • Provide professional graphic design consultation with Advancement staff.

  • Ensure quality control of artwork and supervise digital and printed work.

  • Prepare design work for both digital and print applications.


Project Management:

  • Manage, schedule, and complete projects within established deadlines and budgets using current online systems.

Photography:

  • Assist with photography for special projects, publications, web, online platforms, and social media.

Collaborative Goal Setting:

  • Work with UCF Advancement Communications to establish goals and set new standards of quality for digital and printed pieces.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

  • Experience in digital graphic design and production services.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Experience creating professional PowerPoint presentations, charts, and infographics.

  • Strong understanding of brand development and visual standards.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets.

  • Strong photography skills and experience with social media content creation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and team members.
