Job DescriptionPerforms statewide activities associated with virtual, physical and converged server hardware and software and related systems. Responsibilities include implementing and installing virtual machines, upgrades, monitoring system performance, data backups and recovery, disaster recovery, planning, application integration and testing. Will work with key personnel throughout the college system on issues relating to support of end-users as it pertains to responsible areas.At Texas State Technical College, we recognize the value our employees bring to our institution. The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations. Essential Functions
Assist in planning, design, and maintenance of the overall environment for the IT computing infrastructure:
Monitor systems performance to ensure the most efficient operational standards:
Create and manage systems automation processes and tasks:
Oversee elevated user access and privileges for servers, Active Directory, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems:
Provide resolution and documentation of technical and procedural problems:
