Posting Summary
Rutgers is seeking a Course Instructors Per Diem for Academic Affairs within the School of Public Health, located in Piscataway , NJ. Multiple course instructors needed for graduate degree courses/seminars in a variety of public health topics, including public health core courses and advanced graduate degree courses, when appropriate.

Duties include:

  • Adapt existing course materials utilizing the school's syllabus template and Canvas course template to align with the
  • modality of the course as well as the teaching term.
  • Build the Canvas course site, ensuring that it is current, accessible, and effectively supports student learning; publish the
  • course site prior to or on the first day of the teaching term; maintain course Canvas site regularly, including, posting the
  • syllabus, all announcements, readings, assignments, manage the Discussion board, edit and post lectures for student access.
  • Designate weekly office hours to provide individual student feedback and assistance.
  • Employ engaging and effective instructional strategies that promote student engagement in the course

  • Master's Degree in Public Health or a related field.
  • OR an MD, PharmD or other related doctoral degree
