POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the Essenz Heart Lung Machine pre-installation process and meeting the build demand.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for performing processes required to pre-install Essenz HLM's to be shipped to customers, including but not limited to:
  • Moderately complex electro-mechanical build steps
  • Generation of required documentation
  • Physical and electronic inventory transfers
  • Use of hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches
  • Inspection of, and possible repairs of shipping crates
  • Accountable for department Inventory; accuracy, stocking, shipping and receiving.
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements relating to the pre-installation process.
  • Responsible for providing input to department management with regards to product performance issues, and troubleshooting
  • Initiates self-development to increase technical proficiency on company distributed products, IT systems, software applications, changes in technologies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible and accountable for all assigned company issued assets including but not limited to badges, computers and related hardware, keys, thumb drives.
  • May become involved in cross-functional meetings relating to service and technical issues.
  • Required to complete timely paperwork, electronic documentation, and administrative tasks.
  • Frequent use of pallet jacks, hydraulic lifts and forklift.
  • Maintains an action plan of personal development and training through goals and objectives to improve job skills and overall industry and product knowledge.
  • May be involved in other Depot Service as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Knowledge necessary to perform at this level is generally acquired through proven work related electro-mechanical experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years relevant technical assembly, repair and/or maintenance experience or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic technical knowledge on products and internal processes
  • Demonstrated electro-mechanical knowledge on products and internal processes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to identify and solve equipment problems quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to proactively plan, schedule and develop own work with minimal guidance or supervision.
  • Must be capable of receiving and developing work direction from management.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of company personnel.
  • Must be capable of working alone and with others.

  • Overtime and shift flexibility as required

Pay Transparency:

  • A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this position is $25 - $35 per hour + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
