SmithGroupis looking for aInformation & Communications Technology (ICT) Designerto join our team.This position is ideally located within commuting distance of one of our offices, but remote options can be discussed.

Working with us, you will:



  • Be part of integrated architecture and engineering project design teams.
  • Document building ICT systems including audiovisual, structured cabling, and electronic security systems in Revit, guided by design directives and redlines following established CAD/BIM standards.
  • Help perform system assessments and prepare technical reports.
  • Coordinate among other disciplines using coordination software like Navisworks.
  • Participate in design meetings.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced senior designers.



An ideal candidate has:



  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Revit.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience with structured cabling, audiovisual, and electronic security systems, or other building systems a plus.
  • A willingness to learn and take advantage of growth opportunities.

While we may ultimately pay more or less than a posted salary range, at the time of posting the anticipated salary range for this position is $72,000 to $79,000 annually and you are eligible for a performance-based bonus each year.
