About the unit Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a treatment in which you breathe 100 percent oxygen while inside a pressurized chamber. The high-pressure oxygen can provide several benefits, including:
Our multi-place chamber allows us to cover all indications, from routine to emergent, under the supervision of hyperbaric-trained physicians. As the only 24-7/365 Hyperbaric chamber in the state of Michigan, we are looking for ways to continue delivering the gold standard of care to our patients. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work Duties include vital sign checks, vent management (incredibly basic vent), assisting patients with breathing masks during treatment, IV pump management (same as floor), communication with exterior hyperbaric attendant, documentation related to patient care, and safe transport to and from ICU floors. Other duties within scope of licensure as directed. Must meet all pre work physical exam requirements for running in the chamber and pass HBO training prior to working shifts within the department.
