THIS POSITION PAYS $12.00/HR The 3-Part Checker is responsible for accurately identifying and matching the number sequences on pallets being loaded for shipping. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to read and write legibly. Be able to identify and match number sequences Follow directions given by the Shipping Manager or Supervisor Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, or repacking projects as needed Inspect completed loads for accuracy Sign, date, and turn in load documents to the shipping office when completed Identify damaged, lost, or missing products and notify warehouse leadership immediately. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Interact with warehouse management, warehouse personnel, customers, vendors, and the other. employees/guests in a professional manner. Including other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Education - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience Knowledge/Experience/Skills Must be able to read, write, and understand basic English Basic math, counting, and computer abilities Strong communication skills Demonstrate initiative, self-starter, reliability, follow thru, and teamwork skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist, and/or kneel for up to 12-hour periods of time and repetitively Capability to navigate through narrow, confined spaces Work near or on top of sloping, uneven, and/or slippery surfaces Exposure to varying temperatures Possible exposure to areas with high noise levels that may require hearing protection Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
