THIS POSITION PAYS $12.00/HR
The 3-Part Checker is responsible for accurately identifying and matching the number sequences on pallets being loaded for shipping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Must be able to read and write legibly.
  • Be able to identify and match number sequences
  • Follow directions given by the Shipping Manager or Supervisor
  • Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, or repacking projects as needed
  • Inspect completed loads for accuracy
  • Sign, date, and turn in load documents to the shipping office when completed
  • Identify damaged, lost, or missing products and notify warehouse leadership immediately.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Interact with warehouse management, warehouse personnel, customers, vendors, and the other. employees/guests in a professional manner.
  • Including other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge/Experience/Skills

    • Must be able to read, write, and understand basic English
    • Basic math, counting, and computer abilities
    • Strong communication skills
    • Demonstrate initiative, self-starter, reliability, follow thru, and teamwork skills




PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:


  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist, and/or kneel for up to 12-hour periods of time and repetitively
  • Capability to navigate through narrow, confined spaces
  • Work near or on top of sloping, uneven, and/or slippery surfaces
  • Exposure to varying temperatures
  • Possible exposure to areas with high noise levels that may require hearing protection
  • Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
  • Utilize muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
