The Opportunity

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who has knowledge and experience in operating and maintaining oil pipeline facilities. This individual has the proven skills, competencies, and capacity to operate light, medium, and heavy machinery, within an operational petroleum facility or ROW, with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be offered a position with the one of the following work schedules:

1. 8 hours per day, 5 days a week Monday through Friday.

2. 9 hours per day, 4 days a week Monday through Thursday and working every other Friday for 8 hours.

From time to time, it will be required to work longer shifts to support opportunistic work and other maintenance activities, which may require weekend and holiday work.

What You Will Do
* Operate machinery/equipment and perform routine site activities such as mowing, weed spraying, facility waste, road maintenance, erosion remediation/control
* Ensure all work is completed in alignment to South Bow's health, safety, environment, and risk standards
* Ensure work tasks and duties comply with HS&E policies, procedures and applicable legislation
* Maintain CMV license
* Transport equipment throughout region (Oklahoma and Texas)
* Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on site equipment
* Perform routine equipment integrity checks along with site perimeter security checks
* Independently enter and locate data on computerized systems
* Understand and utilize emergency management (preparedness and response) procedures for work locations
* Respond to internal and external customer/business partner needs; resolve concerns in a reasonable manner
* Provide construction watch, active control, and excavation coordination
* Perform site, right of way, and other pipeline facility maintenance tasks
* Troubleshoot equipment problems utilizing technical reference manuals and documents
* Provide multi-skilled maintenance support with other technicians as required
* Participate in the establishment and achievement of area operational objectives
* Manage and co-ordinate usage of third-party contractors
* Other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
* 2 years' experience in a relatable field
* GED / High School Diploma
*Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and related software.

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate degree/ Certification/ Trade School completion (electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, measurement, operations)

* 5 years' experience in a relatable field

This position requires candidates to:

* Successfully complete pre-employment medical screening including drug and alcohol testing.
* Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review.
* Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training will be required (up to 10% of work schedule)
* Overnight stays away from home base will be required (up to 15% of work schedule)
* Be part of an on-call rotation (as needed) and provide emergency support as required
* Possess, or be eligible to receive, a valid passport and maintain travel eligibility for domestic, cross border, and international travel
* Successfully complete pre-employment Bankruptcy, Credit, Civil and Criminal background checks
