DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the Executive Director, you will hold a crucial role in improving justice programs within Pennsylvania. You will facilitate partnerships among federal, state, and local policymakers to ensure the successful delivery of justice programs. Your work also involves acting as a representative before legislative bodies and coordinating the work of seven advisory boards. In addition, you will propose laws and regulations to remedy any issues or improve agency operations. Other responsibilities include providing statewide criminal statistical and analytical services, promoting community-based initiatives for delinquency prevention and offender reintegration, and overseeing federal and state grants to support best practices and innovation. Additionally, you will be in charge of preparing, administering, and actively managing PCCD's active budget of approximately $900 million. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Limited telework may be available based on operational requirements. You will be required to report to the office at least 3 days a week as required by the Governor's directive for all senior managers. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Eight years of professional experience in criminal justice, juvenile justice, or a justice related field that includes three years of supervisory experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years of professional supervisory experience in criminal justice, juvenile justice, or a justice related field.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation.
