Apex Tool Group is looking to hire a Sr. Manager, eCommerce Sales Planning for The Home Depot customer. This position will report to the VP of eCommerce and Digital COE, and will be based onsite in our Huntersville, NC location. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing sales data and implementing growth strategies for The Home Depot (THD) account, including our Husky, Gearwrench and Crescent brands. This role requires an eCommerce leader with a strong analytical mindset, capable of executing data-driven projects to uncover insights and optimize performance, while driving the ongoing success of our eCommerce channels.

The Build (Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for daily sales planning for THD eCommerce; this includes assortment, pricing, promotions, retail media and new product rollout for US, Canada and Mexico markets.
  • Analyze performance of online business at THD, making recommendations to strategies and changes to content, promotions, positioning, and advertising to drive growth and ensure profitability of the overall business.
  • Drive action through identifying trends and challenges based on analysis of POS and market share data.
  • Own the development and implementation of omni-channel joint business plans
  • Develop strong relationships and processes with Home Depot online merchants and digital teams
  • Partner cross functionally with internal brand, channel, sales and digital experience teams to deliver business and brand priorities
  • Drive retail media for growth and return, implementing test and learn programs as required for new initiatives
  • Own online activation calendar, providing visibility to channel activation and adherence to channel policies

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 10+ years of relative eCommerce sales analysis experience is required; must have in-depth understanding of eCommerce flywheel and the dynamic between web traffic, conversion, availability, and its impact on sales.
  • Manufacturing or CPG/semidurable experience is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills including using VLOOKUPs & pivot tables for sales analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work well with others is a matrix team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results while prioritizing multiple projects and dealing with numerous interruptions.
  • Experience in evaluating and analyzing POS (point of sale) data and summary reports.
