Coordinator, Federal Work Study and Partnerships

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, coordinates daily activity of federal work study program and aid for unique partnership programs, while assisting with other duties in the overall delivery of student aid.

Job Duties
  • Coordinates with University personnel and students the application process, awarding and hiring requirements for federal work study positions.

  • Assists with compiling and assessing data for annual reports; monitors work study balances for both students and departments including monthly reconciliation.

  • Serves as liaison with finance and human resources in establishing best practices.

  • Trains campus community on work study process and procedures.

  • Completes internal audits of student job descriptions, of campus agreements, and ensures compliance.

  • Assists with delivery and administration of all student financial services with primary duties related to the federal work study requirements.

  • Assists with presentations to students and parents.

  • Assists with updating policies and procedures manual; performs other projects and duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree; supplemented with two (2) years related experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Two years of experience in financial aid or federal work study
