Job Title: Sales Support Specialist

Location(s): Arlington Heights, IL

Description:


  • The Sales Support Specialist serves as primary point of contact for the Branch Service Manager.
  • The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the complete lifecycle such as participating in field sales quotations, including but not limited and other duties as assigned.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work with Sales Professional and field teams for day-to-day activities specific to his/her needs.
  • Review and update expired quotes, manage current sales/customer assignments and update in NXGEN, manage accuracy of quotes daily, update any customer contact information, communicate with service sales on current opportunities participate in bi-weekly service sales-call.
  • Help support Service Agreement quotes with customer follow-ups.
  • Communicate with field team on status of current quotes.
  • Help support accuracy between Salesforce/NXGEN.
  • Participate in sales meetings/conference calls, as needed, both internally and with customers to discuss account needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Qualifications:

Education:


  • High school diploma or its equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or BS degree in Business, Marketing, or technical field preferred.


Experience/Skills/Abilities:


  • Positive attitude and strong personality to work directly with a demanding customer.
  • Strong keyboarding and typing skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office with strong emphasis in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task and establish work priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with demonstrated judgment skills Knowledge of or ability to learn JCI's operating systems.
  • Strong organizational skills Strong work ethic, Broad proficiency in customer relations, presentations, and sales motivation.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with an eye for detail.
  • Strong/excellent attendance history required.
