Minimum 2+ years' experience as a System Engineer or Systems Administrator on UNIX/Linux and/or Windows server systems. Knowledge on SAN Storage systems Knowledge of enterprise backup software and related backup automation. Knowledge of systems monitoring systems like Nagios, check_mk, zabbix, etc. Knowledge of scripting languages like perl, python, powershell etc Duties and Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of the Systems Manager, performs the following duties and responsibilities. Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned. Provide technical support for all projects, to assure ongoing, 24/7, fully operational conditions Install, manage, and maintain cluster of servers as well as virtualized environments. Implement all maintenance requirements, changes, updates, patches and upgrades of the IT equipment and infrastructure. Manage and monitor all automated backup functions and procedures. Monitor, manage and provide operational support of all systems used for client projects, as well as for systems used for development and quality assurance. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Understanding of networking fundamentals. Basic understanding of systems lifecycle/patch management. Basic understanding of Data Center environments Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
