About the Department CHFH is an American College of Surgeons verified Level II trauma center, with approximately 1,000 trauma cases annually. As a trauma center, we provide 24/7 coverage of surgeons, emergency medicine physicians, and specially trained nurses and other personnel who provide immediate care to patients who have suffered traumatic injuries. We are integrated into and collaborate with all areas of the hospital that care for injured patients - including EC, ICU, OR, Radiology, Blood Bank, Rehabilitation, and Orthopedic units. At the core of the Trauma Service operation is a robust and complex quality improvement and patient safety program as well as evidenced-based injury prevention programs. About Farmington Hills Hospital Recognized by U.S News and World Report as one of the nation's high-performing facilities for multiple procedures and conditions and has been recognized as a Magnet-designed hospital for nursing excellence. This hospital has grown in size and capabilities over the decades to become a Level II trauma center, serving the community since 1965. It also serves as the base teaching hospital for Michigan State University. Scope of work Responsible for the management of all components of the Trauma Registry and trauma informatics, including clinical case review, data retrieval and collection, statistics, analysis, and presentation both internally and externally. Must be comfortable with both interpretation of clinical care and advanced computing and database administration. Also serves to promote injury prevention and trauma education in a variety of ways such as teaching classes, conducting safety fairs and screenings, and representing Corewell Health at community events.
