Job Summary Gateway Community College is seeking to fill two full-time residential faculty positions for Fall 2025. The positions will supervise and instruct a diverse population of students in classroom/lab/clinical on topics in Respiratory Care. Essential Functions Minimum Qualifications 1. Must hold a current license for Respiratory Therapist (RCP) by the Arizona State Board of Respiratory Care Examiners and have an active RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care 2. A Bachelor's degree plus 3 years work experience in field to be taught, or an Associate's degree and 5 years work experience in field to be taught, or 5 years work experience in the field to be taught (Respiratory Care) Desired Qualifications A. Two (2) years teaching experience in healthcare at a college or technical school. B. Experience in Intensive Care setting. C. Experience in clinical instruction or preceptorship. D. Experience with (online systems, i.e. Google Suite or equivalent, SIS, Learning Management System, etc.) E. Experience with long term care, pediatrics, vascular access, pulmonary rehabilitation and patient education. F. Experience working with a diverse population of patients and/or students.
