What your job will be like:

As a member of the CST Help Desk, provide day-to-day support for video tele-conference (VTC) systems, audio and video (AV) systems and associated software used for meetings, conferences and webinars. Works with vendors and facilities management to design, procure and install AV systems in meeting rooms. Operates AV and VTC systems for meetings, conferences and webinars. Provides troubleshooting, training and documentation for users on meeting room AV/VTC systems and associated software. Assists with the support of Windows. Mac and Linux desktop systems.

In this role you will:


  • Facilitate and operate AV and VTC systems for meetings, conferences and webinars.
  • Actively test meeting room AV, VTC and computing systems to maintain and ensure the functionality of the systems.
  • Provide training and documentation for users on meeting room AV/VTC systems and associated software.
  • Troubleshoot user problems with AV/VTC systems and associated software.
  • Conduct AV/VTC system designs, manage vendors, and oversee new equipment installations.
  • Provide desktop support for Windows, Macintosh and Linux based systems.

Qualifications we require:

Education:


  • High School Diploma required.

Experience:


  • 5 Years relevant experience with a high school diploma required, or
  • the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Expertise in choosing, configuring, installing, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment and video-teleconferencing systems.
  • Ability to oversee AV events, VTC meetings and webinars, and ensure a superior experience for participants.
  • Ability to operate sound boards with multiple inputs and outputs.
  • Demonstrates intermediate skills and knowledge with the Windows operating system.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with the use and management of Zoom, Teams and other VTC applications.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment in completing assignments.
  • Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced in customer services practices.
  • Knowledge of tools necessary for maintaining and disseminating documentation via the web. Must be able to use these tools.
  • Must have an understanding of the operation of wired and wireless computer networks.

Qualifications we desire:


  • Relevant Associate's Degree preferred.
