Here's what you'd do: The Accountant supports the V.P. of Business & Finance, overseeing and managing accounting functions and related activities. Accountant duties include managing the accounting system, maintaining the general ledger, assisting in book closing and financial statements reporting, compiling budget, assisting in corporate tax and hospital-related annual reporting, maintaining financial data integrity, and other duties as assigned. This position is the starting job of the financial leadership track and can lead to upper management roles based on experience and performance. Assists in maintaining and overseeing accounting procedures and processes (payroll, A/P, A/R, general ledger, tax, etc.) Maintains and updates general ledger accounts, performs ledger accounts and bank reconciliations, records entries, and closes the monthly books Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end audits Review payroll and accounts payable functions to ensure accurate and timely processing and recording to the accounting system Assists in year-end procedures and reporting Supports upper management in financial analysis and performs other related duties as assigned Here's what you'll get: Pay: $70k-$80k/year Hours: Full-time, M-F, flexible hours Length: Direct, permanent role Strong benefits package including: PTO: 26 paid days off per year to start (PTO increases over time, up to 44 days per year, with the option to sell back PTO at 100% value) Health insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance Short-term disability Long-term disability Life insurance provided at 3 times your annual salary Supplemental life insurance Company-sponsored 401(a), funded at 8.5% to start (increases to 14.5% over time), no employee contribution needed A promising career in a growing industry Opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and empower yourself (and others) Sound like a good fit?
