Overview
The State of Vermont is seeking a Director for the State's Office of Health Equity to advance health equity across state government. This position will work closely with state agencies, community organizations, and other partners to develop and implement a strategy of health equity for historically marginalized populations, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader and able to communicate vision and strategy to staff and partners. They will also have an extensive background managing internal and external partnerships with diverse groups of stakeholders, along with program experience in public health with a focus on equity issues. This position, Director Of Health Equity (Job Requisition #51879), is open to all State employees and external applicants.
