Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer, supporting the Growth and Marketing Division.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: Remote

JOB STATUS: Full Time

TRAVEL: 10-15% (as needed)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience with graphic design and creative direction assignments for the government sector
  • In-depth knowledge of the materials used in the design, production, and reproduction of visual products to plan the technical details of, or produce, aesthetically composed visual products
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and techniques associated with the development and production of original graphics, photography, and visual information programs
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
  • Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing a broad range of graphic design competencies

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Motion graphics experience using Adobe After Effects
  • Video and video editing experience using Adobe Premier Pro is a plus
  • Copywriting experience is a plus
  • B2B design experience in one of the following areas is a plus: IT, Information Security, Cyber, and/or Aviation

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceptualize, coordinate, and develop print and digital marketing materials, including posters, tri-fold brochures, flyers, banners, and more
  • Ensure print materials are press-ready by performing prepress before handoff
  • Build, refine, and maintain corporate branding and identity guidelines to ensure consistent branding across all company collateral - art direction
  • Collaborate with partners and counterparts partner companies for handoff of branded assets
  • Support Business Development department with editorial/layout design and creation of infographics for pursuit and proposal efforts
  • Support Human Resources department with stationary design, QR code creation, award and certificate design, and more
  • Take direction and develop projects with minimal oversite as well as work well within a team
  • Collaborate with social media team to ensure consistency of designs across various social media platforms
  • Photography and photo retouching, restoration, and editing, as needed
  • Ensure video editing and motion graphics align with corporate branding by collaborating with videographer
    • May assist with video editing and motion graphics as needed
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned
