Purpose of the Role

As a Procurement Contract Specialist II at Worley, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective administration of contracts that support our mission of delivering sustainable change. This role involves identifying, negotiating, and managing contractor relationships to ensure the seamless execution of projects. You will contribute to our organization's ambition to lead in sustainability solutions by supporting the delivery of energy, chemicals, and resource projects that meet society's current needs while accelerating the transition to sustainable energy sources.

Key Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and compile data essential for the administration of contracts.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract administration procedures to align with project objectives and organizational goals.
  • Identify, solicit, and evaluate reliable contractors to supply consultancy, specialty, and construction services for project execution.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies.
  • Prepare, administer, and monitor contracts for services, equipment, materials, or products to support the successful delivery of projects.
  • Evaluate contractor performance and delivery to ensure alignment with agreed-upon objectives and contractual requirements.
  • Facilitate approval processes and provide supporting documentation for payment of invoices, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to team members to enhance understanding of contract administration processes.

    • A university degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, supply chain management, or engineering, or equivalent professional experience in contract management.
    • Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, preparation, administration, and compliance monitoring.
    • Proficiency in managing complex tasks with minimal supervision, showcasing sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong understanding of contract-related systems, processes, and tools, with the ability to assist others and resolve issues.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
    • A solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes that align with Worley's purpose and ambition.
    • Familiarity with industry standards and practices within energy, chemicals, and resource sectors.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
