Finance Intern - Rock Hill, SC

The Role

• Applies general accounting principles for recording, maintaining, and analyzing accounting and financial data
• Assists and contributes to the Finance team
• Conducting biweekly checks on cost centers/Store Branches that have no headcount.
• Engaging in the Sustain Project, which involves calling supplies to understand the sustainability of Landfill, reuse, renewable energy, etc.
• Mapping usage of GL accts- Create Master File.
• Contributing to the cleaning of ISIT License and Charges.
• Handling other ad hoc items as needed.
• IT Business Services Reconciliation
• Reconciliation
• How to change and improve Reconciliation
• Download Reports (Bad Debt/Scrap/Stock Take)
• Cost Center Mapping
• Tagging Corp Fixed Assets
• Completes assigned projects and tasks related to financial task

What we expect of you?

• Ability to work independently and as part of team with professionals at all levels
• Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to analyze information
• Basic understanding of accounting
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet
• General ledger and ERP experience would be a plus, but not required
• Work under supervision of other accounting & finance professionals
