POSITION: Operations Product Manager

The Operations Product Manager is responsible for the overall management and optimization of key Operations & Services division vendor relationships, with a focus on products related to check processing, check fraud analysis, and deposit and loan statement and notice processing.

Key Result Areas:

  • Possess in-depth subject matter expertise. Create and maintain detailed documentation outlining functions, features, and file flows. This includes user guides, technical specifications, and FAQs to ensure stakeholders understand product capabilities.
  • Oversee the management of budget, contracts, addendums, and work orders. Continuously evaluate products and services utilized to optimize value and manage expenses effectively.
  • Establish a framework to monitor key success metrics, including costs, service-level agreements, delivery trends, features, functionality, and risks. Regularly analyze and report on these metrics to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision making.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for product enhancements and upgrades based on market trends, customer feedback, and technological advancements. Ensure alignment with business goals and develop a structured process for managing product upgrades, including planning, execution, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product backlogs, strategies, and roadmaps. Manage defect and issue processes, including communications with internal teams and vendors, logging and prioritizing defects, validating remediated defects, and ongoing monitoring and testing.
  • Work collaboratively with departments across the bank, ensuring duties are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Adhere to control and risk management measures to prevent operational losses.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the bank's overall goals.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements. Experience with check and statement processing vendors and technology or operations product management preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to effectively manage cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to problem solve and make informed decisions using data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
