Overview and Responsibilities

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager of Administrative Services. This position is responsible for identifying, leading, managing and delivering results that are essential to meeting company goals and targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Delivers key controllable expenses within budget targets to maximize productivity and profitability
  • Develops strategies around improving performance and results
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory and compliance related requirements
  • Evaluates key business metrics and performance to standards
  • Facilitate and directly drive critical issue resolution and remove roadblocks to company operational goals and targets
  • Identifies opportunities to improve performance
  • Models effective leadership skills to gain commitment to goals and strategies
  • Monitors, manages, and maintains accountability for projects and areas of responsibility
  • Plans include targets and goals with measurable outcomes and time frames
  • Provides leadership, ongoing training and direction to the involved stakeholders
  • Provides routine reporting to senior leadership on status of projects and/or key performance metrics
  • Seeks executive approval for key process and/or policy changes
  • Serve as key escalation point for critical issues and initiatives
  • Travel occasionally via airplane and/or vehicle
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Employment is contingent on

  • Background investigation (company-wide)
  • Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Five years' experience in DME or healthcare industry preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous management experience

  • Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written, with physicians, location employees and patients to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
  • Helpful, knowledgeable and polite while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums
  • Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
  • Multi-task along with attention to detail and follow through skills
  • Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical, numerical, reasoning abilities, research and fact finding skills
  • Understand financial analysis, revenue management, financial concepts and basic corporate financial structure
  • Work independently and as part of a team; with minimal to no supervision

Physical Demands

  • Requires close vision to small print on computer and or paperwork
  • Requires occasional lifting and transporting of patient equipment and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. during travel
  • Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking or listening
  • Travel occasionally via airplane and/or vehicle
  • Utilize computer for extensive hours

  • Email transmission and communication
  • Internet navigation and research
  • Microsoft applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power-Point, Publisher, Access, etc.
  • Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer
  • Understands use of all applicable home respiratory equipment and supplies

Work Environment

  • Office environment
  • Travel occasionally via airplane and/or vehicle; frequent overnight travel required
