Finance Operations Transformation Director

The Opportunity:

As a Delivery Hub Executive, you will provide leadership to the key essential functions within our Financial Operations Shared Services. You will identify, qualify, prioritize, and manage implementation of process and technology improvements that meet business needs and improve service experience. As an operational excellence professional, you have the experience and skills to ensure our Delivery Hub operations are effective, efficient, timely, and scalable. You will interface with both internal and external customers, along with Booz Allen leadership, to truly understand business needs and gain insight into financial operations. You will monitor, analyze, and benchmark established metrics identifying areas for improvement and create and foster strong cross-functional relationships. As a trusted adviser, you will support the strategic direction of our financial operations shared services, anticipate key trends, opportunities, and vulnerabilities, and facilitate the development of our responses while modeling company values, ensuring company compliance with all requirements and auditing shared services processes. This position is located in Norfolk, VA. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What You'll Work On:

  • Partner with Delivery Hub and Finance Centers of Excellence (COE) leaders to design and execute transformative change in support of corporate strategies.

  • Partner with firmwide and Delivery Hub Communications and Change teams to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new FinOps-related processes and systems and proactive engagement of key stakeholders.

  • Partner with Delivery Hub leaders, FinOps SMEs, Finance COEs, and other stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of FinOps functions.

  • Partner with FinOps SMEs, Finance COEs, and ETSS to explore opportunities to implement technology solutions to streamline operations and improve data management across FinOps functions.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for transformation initiatives.

  • Work with Delivery Hub leaders, corporate finance, and key stakeholders to clearly articulate and monitor progress against ROI measurements.

  • Ensure all transformation efforts and related changes comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience in finance

  • 8+ years of program management experience, including managing all aspects of complex efforts to ensure program elements are implemented, accepted, and accomplished on deadline

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role focused on finance transformation

  • Experience identifying underperforming transactional processes and working with stakeholders and functional SMEs to design and implement operational efficiencies and process improvements

  • Experience overseeing the administration of programs while simultaneously developing and recommending new programs to higher-level management

  • Experience working with leadership to analyze performance indicators, identify areas to be optimized, develop recommendations, and ensure implementation of solutions

  • Experience analyzing customer data, maintaining key metrics and associated reporting, presenting data, and proposing solutions to identify continuous improvements in efficiency and quality service delivery

  • Ability to quickly adjust to changing circumstances, embrace new ideas, and navigate uncertainty during the transformation process

  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $158,800.00 to $295,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
