Basic Function

Supply Chain is a customer-focused Center of Excellence providing industry-leading service while delivering differential value to the business, today and into the future. We separate our Supply Chain functions into several areas; these include logistics, customer fulfillment, services, trade compliance, and support for business processes and systems.

As a member of our dynamic Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in helping us supply our products to a global customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting one or more strategic facets within the Supply Chain Services organization, providing direction and leadership to high priority Supply Chain projects. During a typical day, you will primarily interact with mid to upper-level management within Supply Chain to build value cases and lead execution for strategic initiatives. This role will also manage a training/onboarding program for Supply Chain, which includes direct reports for 2-3 months at a cycle.

This position reports to the Supply Chain Services Manager and is located at our North American Headquarters in Downtown Houston. The position offers a competitive base salary, bonus, 401K matching, generous benefits package, pension plan, parking subsidy and employee discounts.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Rotational Program Manager:Oversee the development, management, and continuous improvement of the Supply Chain rotational program.

    • Refine program requirements, including onboarding "bench" experience and graduation requirements. Build out Lean and Six Sigma project requirements
    • Build and maintain the incoming talent pipeline while ensuring alignment with strategic program objectives
    • Coordinate program requirements and rotational swap process. Work with HR and rotational program managers to create a seamless experience


  • Mid-Career Development Program Manager:Continue to develop and refine the internal training requirements and opportunities to foster growth and development within the Supply Chain Organizations.

    • Coordination with managers to create employee learning plans to foster talent growth and enhance operational productivity. Manage the administration of assigning trainings and tracking progress
    • Aid Supply Chain leadership in targeting activities and employee development opportunities that will continuously improve strategic and operational productivity. Continual improvement to the developed training framework.
    • Develop and present training topics on areas such as communication, organization, Lean, Six Sigma, and change management. Topics to be based on background knowledge and experiences as well as on-the job subject matter expertise learnings.
    • Leading the organization and setup of "Supply Chain 101" learning topics and tours throughout the year to foster continual growth and learnings.


  • College Recruiting and Bench & Intern Program Manager:Coordinate and manage the Supply Chain Recruiting process as well as the internship and full-time "bench" onboarding program

    • Manage the full recruitment cycle for Supply Chain internships and full-time positions
    • Coordinate interview schedules, interview panel training, and manage the recruitment pipeline in collaboration with Supply Chain leadership
    • Working with SC leaders to define headcount needs, defining yearly budgetary needs
    • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including the management of summer internships and full-time "bench" programs
    • Perform manager responsibilities for summer interns as well as college new hires during their "bench" onboarding activities. Coordinate summer internship role identification and scoping and all other supply chain employee-related activities


  • Other activities include:

    • Oversee the Supply Chain mentorship program, pairing leaders with employees for career development
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between Supply Chain leadership and HR regarding Talent Development initiatives
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with HR and Supply Chain leadership to develop and implement systems, programs, or other organizational improvements to optimize Supply Chain output
    • Demonstrate the ability to consult effectively with other internal functional areas and external consultancies to identify opportunities, frameworks and resources that maximize Supply Chain's performance towards goals/objectives
    • Act as an expert for Talent Management processes and strategies that span across all supported businesses


  • This role regularly participates in discussions that require a high level of confidentiality
  • Operate with a solution-oriented mindset with regard to process improvements; Lead change implementation for extended system improvements or other Supply Chain Services projects
  • Partner with peers to provide solutions, guidance to resolve business related problems

Min. Qualifications

* The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years' relevant, industry-related experience.

* Must possess excellent communication, organization, and facilitation skills with a focus on results, customer service and change management.

* The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, with a high degree of confidentiality.

* A Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

* The ideal candidate will be an advanced user in Excel; Advanced skills in BI preferred but not required.

* Able to maintain professionalism and prioritize responsibilities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

* The ideal candidate will have demonstratable knowledge in Project Management.

* Interpersonal and negotiation skills centered on innovation and problem solving are key for this role.

* Comfortable manipulating and analyzing data, as well as making recommendations and decisions based on data.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with extended tools.

* Experience with ERP software such as SAP is strongly desired.
