Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is$85,300.00 to$142,200.00. This position is eligible for participation in our short-term incentive program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.

The range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects the potential base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills. The anticipated compensation range described above is subject to change and the compensation ultimately paid may be higher or lower than the range described above.

Position Details

Perform the daily cash management activities, including determining cash position, cash movement (Treasury payments), investment of excess cash, issuance of short-term debt, foreign currency transactions and other cash transactions. Provide analysis, processing and transaction support to Cash Operations and Cash Accounting teams supporting cash management activities for Grainger. Represent Treasury on several special projects related to banking, cash and funding matters.

You Will

  • Prepare daily domestic cash position, determine daily cash position and invest/redeem/issue debt based on cash position. Report to Senior Management on status of global investments and debt each day. Initiate and/or approve daily Treasury payments (wires, ACHs).
  • Perform weekly cash forecast to ensure adequate cash balance and liquidity
  • Maintain the services and signatories of domestic and international bank accounts. Provide KYC to banks as needed.
  • Lead and participate in various projects for initiatives requiring Treasury or bank services
  • Interact with financial institutions to stay informed of ongoing market product enhancements and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, working with Internal Audit as well as domestic and international banks and team members to ensure bank websites are securely maintained and treasury processes are compliant with current requirements
  • Work with international entities to establish banking relationships, fund accounts and understand nuances of banking outside of the United States. Assist in international transactions. Provide counsel to Corporate and international team members regarding funding options and foreign exchange details for existing entities.
  • Maintain FBAR related data and provide annually to the tax department for IRS filing

You Have

  • 5-7 years of experience in related field preferred.
  • Experience in a banking or treasury environment is critical
  • BA/BS or equivalent preferred.
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) certification is preferred
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with the Treasury team, cross-functional business team members and external partners
  • Ability to build internal and external (banks) relationships and influence decision making without having specific authority
  • Strong work ethic, team-oriented and customer-focused
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to balance and prioritize multiple initiatives and projects
  • Motivated to seek and implement process improvements
