We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Operational Excellence and Change Manager within our Value Added Services organization in the US. This role is essential in driving operational performance and quality management across the organization. Key responsibilities include routine performance monitoring, managing projects, and implementing change initiatives to meet and exceed targets and foster continuous improvement. We seek a dynamic individual skilled in overseeing process performance, stakeholder management, project planning, execution, and change management. You will collaborate with various departments nationwide to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators, plan and execute projects adhering to guidelines, and ensure successful implementation of change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Management:

  • Foster a culture that is open to change by promoting the benefits of change initiatives and encouraging a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
  • Lead and support the design and delivery of change initiatives, ensuring successful deployment of changes.
  • Facilitate the resolution of issues related to change, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Ensure best practices and methodologies are followed to ensure consistent and effective results.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Track and monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring adherence to project plans and standards.

Performance Management:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, track, and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement in performance management practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational performance and efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders to ensure alignment and commitment to project goals and change initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, data analytics, Project Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of proven experience in managing change initiatives and projects within the logistics or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor and track performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Certifications in Project, Change or Continuous Improvement Management, are a plus.
  • Knowledge of DGF systems, tools, and processes (e.g. CW1, Forwarding Reporting Platform (FRP), US Customs Brokerage processes, First Choice tools, Accelerated Change & Transition (ACT)), is a plus.
  • Proficient in the use of MS-Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Project and Visio
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Strategic thinking, self-directed, high energy and proactive working style.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
