Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is searching for a Director of Content Product to join our team!

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive our product strategy, focusing on data collection as the cornerstone of our offerings. This role involves identifying and evaluating the value of diverse data sets to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives. You will guide the content operations team to collect the right data, at the optimal frequency, granularity, and update cadence. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring data serves as the core foundational product, enabling the development of innovative solutions that deliver exceptional value across our product portfolio.

This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.

Preferred Location

This is a remote, home-office based role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for data collection, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands
  • Evaluate the relevance and value of various data sets based on customer needs, industry trends, and business opportunities
  • Direct the content operations team to gather the right data with appropriate granularity, frequency, and update cadence
  • Establish standards and processes to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of collected data
  • Work closely with engineering, analytics, and product teams to ensure data collection efforts support downstream products and services
  • Stay informed on market and industry trends to identify emerging data opportunities that can enhance the product portfolio
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and refine data strategies to meet evolving needs
  • Position data as a core foundational product that drives innovation and value for all other products and solutions
  • Establish performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of data collection processes and their impact on business objectives
  • Advocate for the importance of high-quality data as a critical enabler of product success, influencing decision-making across the organization

Education Requirement

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • 10+ years of Content Operation or Content Product Management experience providing strategic direction to data harvesting operations
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with internal and external stakeholders as well as directly with customers/users engaging in voice of the customer work
  • Effective written, presentation, and verbal communications skills for any level of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with data, metrics, baselines, being outcomes focused, and experience with prioritization and cost/effort vs value
  • Strong analytical skills to assess the value and utility of diverse data sets based on customer needs and business priorities
  • Experience guiding operations teams in designing efficient data collection processes, including frequency, granularity, and update cadence
  • Knowledge of best practices for ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability, with hands-on experience implementing quality control measures
  • Ability to translate customer feedback and market insights into actionable data strategies that enhance product offerings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, operations, and other stakeholders
  • Understanding of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in data collection and product development
  • Expertise in defining and leveraging KPIs to measure the success of data strategies and their alignment with business goals
  • Ability to position data as a foundational product, ensuring its alignment with broader business strategies and long-term objectives

Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Construction and/or commercial building services industry experience a plus

Salary Disclosure

Dodge Construction Network's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
