As a Deal Maker/Engagement Partner at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of our sales activities, leading deals from qualification to closure for complex, multi-tower multi-million deals. This is your chance to shape opportunities, paving the way for groundbreaking negotiations with top-level executives, including CxOs and closing deals. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in determining pricing and commercial strategies, leveraging insights from our team of pricing experts.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind the success in our Core and Strategic accounts, where you will create Kyndryl's unique and compelling propositions tailored to meet market demands and customer requirements. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with internal stakeholders to gather the necessary documents and technical solutions for bid submissions. Your exceptional skills in deal crafting will be put to the test as you define winning propositions and lead the end-to-end response for complex deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex multi-tower deals, showing customers how our services can enable their strategies and visions from Start (Business Development) to Close (Signed Deal)

  • Build and develop personal relationships with customers and external partners.

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to customers, bringing together multiple inputs into a cohesive story.

  • Drive customer satisfaction and act with integrity.

  • Create a compelling narrative to win, engage customers in co-creation, and influence them off-slide.

  • Have deep relationships with senior leaders at third-party advisors and influence TPAs to recommend our services.

  • Lead the bid response process for prospects and be ultimately responsible for bid quality and outcome.Orchestrates bid activities post lead qualification through deal kickoff for complex, multi-tower deals. Lead customer negotiations, including at CxO level, for complex, multi-tower deal and determines the pricing/commercial strategy with inputs from pricing experts. Drives opportunity ownership in complex, multi-tower deals, typically in strategic new logos, Core accounts, and strategic accounts. Compiles, refines, and owns final proposal documents.

Who You Are

    Required Skills/Expertise

    • Over 10 years of experience in leading customer negotiations for large, complex deals exceeding $100M.

    • Proven track record of nurturing and developing relationships with CxO-level executives.

    • Expertise in business development, including hunting, shaping, and closing large new logos (>$100M).

    • Proficiency in client profiling, researching company financials, and understanding industry and market trends, including mergers and acquisitions.

    • Ability to build, lead, and manage high-performance engagement teams, ensuring the right people are in the right roles.

    • Technical acumen to engage in meaningful conversations with clients and align the technical team with clients' business needs.

    • Experience in conceptualizing and executing large new logo bid activities and deals, including orchestrating bid activities post lead qualification through deal kickoff for complex, multi-tower deals.

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree

    • Manufacturing Industry Expertise

    The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $151,560 to $272,760 based on a full-time schedule.

    Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

    There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

    California: $166,680 to $327,240

    Colorado: $151,560 to $272,760

    New York City: $181,800 to $327,240

    Washington: $166,680 to $300,120

    Washington DC: $166,680 to $300,120

    This position will be eligible for Kyndryls discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryls applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
