Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesof a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • Map and exhibit creation for environmental package submittals.
  • Practice proper organization and data file standards.
  • Work well with other Environmentalteam and field team members.
  • Use spatial analysis to solve project related challenges.
  • Understand environmental and development practices for efficient project oversight.
  • Works in an efficient manner while requiring limited supervision
  • Utilize ArcGIS Online to create and manage web maps.
  • Use ArcGIS desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and AutoCAD to create, edit, and extract various types of data.

Skills/Requirementsof a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college in GIS, Surveying, Engineering, Geography, Information Systems, Environmental Sciences or related degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge and experience with data conversion using ArcInfo, ArcGIS, AutoCAD or Microstation
  • Must be able to assist in complex mapping, GIS development and production strategies using current knowledge of computer applications and technology
  • Must be able to assist the Technical Analyst in researching and recommending new methods, equipment, or programs to better accomplish tasks
  • Microcomputer background in GIS/Mapping software, computer aided drafting software, related third party mapping, GIS software applications, database management systems software and windows based operating systems
  • Good oral and written communications skills; ability to communicate technical information, ability to research, interpret and summarize data
  • Must have the ability to prioritize multiple projects from numerous departments
  • This individual must be highly motivated, a self-starter; flexible, detail-oriented, enjoy interacting with employees and clients; willing to work at a dynamic pace to complete tasks and meet deadlines; and share a commitment to our firm's vision, mission, and shared values
